MDRF distributes free writing materials to pupils of L.E.A Primary School, Suleja

In order to encourage children of less privileged parents in their academic pursuit and ultimately reduce the menace of out-of-school children in the country, the Michael Dato Relief Foundation (MDRF) recently visited L.E.A Primary School, Kwamba, in the Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State. The courtesy visit was to distribute thousands of free writing materials such as exercise books, biros and pencils to pupils of the school.

Speaking during the donation, the MDRF president, Deaconess Helen Umar noted that the gesture was done as part of the humanitarian and educational support activities of the Foundation. She urged the pupils of the school to make good use of the items and promised to do more on behalf of the Foundation in the future.

Receiving the writing materials on behalf of the pupils, the Head Mistress of the school, Mrs. Ramatu Abudlahi thanked the Foundation and its financiers for singling out the school for the donation. She promised to distribute them to the pupils in a manner that will take into considerations the children that are really in need of them.
